Waverley at Ardentinny

The world's last sea-going paddle steamer Waverley celebrated its Diamond Jubilee with her first sailing of the 2007 season from nearby Blairmore Pier on Saturday 16, June, 2007. The cruise from Glasgow called at Greenock, Helensburgh and Kilcreggan. After Blairmore, she cruised up Loch Long to Arrochar. Waverley begins her regular Wednesday cruises from Blairmore on June 27 (until August 22) departing at 14:05 and returning at 15:30. The Loch Long cruise also passes Carrick Castle in Loch Goil. Tickets can be bought on board, at the shop near Blairmore Pier or direct from Waverley Excursions.
