This postcard published by M. Gardner of Ardentinny Post Office was mailed by a holidaymaker to a Kilmacolm address on 23 September, 1909. The Old School can be seen on left of picture. Can anyone name the donkey?

[13:21:28] Ardentinny Church repairs continue

Closed for over 12 months  due to a ceiling collapse, roof work continues at Ardentinny Church. Built for some £500 in 1839 by the Laird, Douglas of Glenfinart, the building is expected to open again later this year.

Glenfinart Walled Garden - Volunteer Days
Every Wednesday & Thursday 11am - 2.30pm.

All welcome!

Music Group - Every Monday 18:00-19:30hrs.
Village Hall, Ardentinny.
Neil and Mike from Rock Cottage are running a new group within the village, initially this is aimed at learning to play the Ukulele. That said we are not limiting or restricting the group to these two instruments. Anyone and everyone are welcome to come, learn, join in, or add something to those starting out playing an instrument, likewise if you’re at a loose end, then come along for a coffee and chat, worth noting we do have spare instruments knocking around, so even if you just want to try something then please pop along. Cost £2.00 per session. Teas and coffees will be available these will be on a donation basis.
