Against all odds… (photos updated)

Sensory Garden on Thursday.

Despite atrocious weather conditions during which parts of the garden became a quagmire, filming of Beechgrove Garden progressed today on schedule at Ardentinny’s Glenfinart Walled Garden.

Under the direction of Tern Tv’s Gwyneth Hardy, the amazing volunteers from Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, along with many local volunteers, endured almost constant heavy rain with good humour.

Turf was placed over the tump, the vegetable garden was weeded, seating was positioned in the sensory garden and final touches were made to the kids’ area. The Beechgrove hosts also conducted interviews with the locals whose vision has made Glenfinart Walled Garden a reality.

If you would to take part in the final day of filming, the team will be at the Walled Garden on Friday from 9am.
