Blairmore Pier presentation to retiring Waverley Purser

After the last Loch Long sailing of the season on Saturday 16 October, Friends of Blairmore Pier Trust Chairman, Captain Alistair McLundie, presented Waverley Purser Jim MacFadzean with an honorary Trust membership to mark his retirement. Jim, who leaves the Waverley after some 23 years, will be sadly missed by all the regulars. We wish him well.

Music Group - Every Monday 18:00-19:30hrs.
Village Hall, Ardentinny.
Neil and Mike from Rock Cottage are running a new group within the village, initially this is aimed at learning to play the Ukulele. That said we are not limiting or restricting the group to these two instruments. Anyone and everyone are welcome to come, learn, join in, or add something to those starting out playing an instrument, likewise if you’re at a loose end, then come along for a coffee and chat, worth noting we do have spare instruments knocking around, so even if you just want to try something then please pop along. Cost £2.00 per session. Teas and coffees will be available these will be on a donation basis.
