Ardentinny featured on this week’s episode of the BBC series Grand Tours of Scotland’s Lochs. Presented by Paul Murton, who was brought up in the village, we were introduced to Ardentinny with a walk over the Larach accompanied by Harry Lauder’s song “O’er the Hill to Ardentinny”. Then a quick stroll past the hotel which his family owned to the old school which he had attended and finally to the pier (today’s slipway).
